Each room features its own safe box free of charge.

Is Wi-Fi access available in the rooms & public areas?

Every guest can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi access in the lobby area and in all rooms, provided you use your own device.

What is the standard hotel check-in and check-out time?

Guests can check in at 14:00 and check out at 12:00 noon.

My return flight back home is delayed. Can I book a late check-out directly at the hotel?

The hotel welcomes guest requests but your late check-out cannot be guaranteed until your departure date. Availability of late check-out rooms always depends on respective arrivals.

Current charges for a ‘late check-out’ room are €100 until 18:00 (local time).

I have booked a ‘late check-out’ room. Will I be able to keep the same room I have been staying in?

We will consider every request and will do our utmost to help make your late check-out as seamless and stress-free as possible. However, it not guaranteed that you will be able to keep the same room allocated for the duration of your stay as your room may be needed for guests arriving early on the day you depart. On the day of your departure, please kindly check if it is possible to keep the same room at the reception. If not, you’ll be asked to check-out from your original room at 12 noon and you’ll be given a different room to enjoy for the remainder of the day.

Are there any rooms available accessible to disabled guests?

Yes, Royal Apollonia does feature rooms that have been specially adapted and designed to accommodate disabled guests.

Do the hotel rooms have ironing facilities?

No, but the hotel does have a dedicated room with ironing facilities. Guests can also enjoy a laundry service at a charge.

Do the rooms include tea and coffee facilities?

Yes, guests can enjoy a kettle and coffee-machine in the comfort of their rooms.

Can I request a room upgrade whilst staying in the hotel?

Yes, room upgrades are available with a respective charge, but this always depends on hotel occupancy. As some months are at high occupancy, please book the desired room type and/or view, when making your booking to avoid disappointment.

Do the rooms feature a mini-bar?

Yes. You can also enjoy refills of any items consumed from the mini-bar for a set charge.

Number of swimming pools / depths etc

Do you heat any of your swimming pools?

The hotel’s indoor pool is the only swimming pool heated between November and April.

Do you provide beach towels or do I have to bring my own?

The hotel provides beach towels for all guests free of charge. A refundable €15 deposit (per towel) is charged on your extras upon receiving your beach towel and is cancelled on the day you return the towels and pool card upon departure. Guests can replace beach towels with fresh ones every day at our spa reception desk.

Is there a dress code for dinner at the hotel restaurants?

We encourage gentlemen to wear long trousers and sleeved shirts in the hotel’s main restaurant.

During the hot period (May to October), gentlemen can enter Akakiko Japanese with smart shorts or ¾ trousers. At Aura Dining, long trousers are required for dinner only.

(Please note that although there is no dress code for breakfast and lunch, we do ask that guests are appropriately dressed, especially to cover bathing suits)
